2011-02-09 06:33:00 | I spent ~45 minutes on hold earlier today before giving up. I'm now ~50 minutes in (on hold, calling from a cellphone), and still haven't gotten through to a human to speak to.

2011-02-09 06:37:00 | I had the same prob the other week. Since their online chat didnt know the answer, I had to ring and wait for 40-45 mins. In the end, I gave up and rang a few days later | Speedy Gonzales (78) | |

If they have long wait times I hang up, no use waiting to be told they have a problem and their techs are work on it ------no kidding. Also if you call first thing in the morning or late in the afternoon often the times are longer. If you call in the evening they have less call centers open. I called the other day, mid morning, went through in under 5 minutes. |

2011-02-09 08:15:00 | Gave up after about an hour. I'll give them a call from work tomorrow I guess. I'm calling back in regards to an issue which has been going on for a while - the modem will disconnect every day or so, and take ~5minutes to reconnect. They sent out a technician last time who said the original person who did the install hadn't set up the splitter properly, so he switched some cables around. That seemed to do the trick for a while, but now the problem has returned.

2011-02-09 09:33:00 | You mean Telstra's modem?? Its a Dynalink RTA1320v6. Only 1 port, and no wireless ( I didnt use wireless before anyway). But I've added a 5 port gigabit switch for the 2 PC's here. Cant be too bad. I didnt have to do anything (like add my username/password for Telstra). Once I connected it, I got online The old modem / the Dlink, was one I brought (so didnt use firmware from an ISP). But, if it was online (when I changed to Telstra), it would disconnect constantly. I never had a prob with it, when I was with Xnet. Telstra told me to try connecting 2 filters, to see if that would fix it (I didnt try it)

2011-02-09 20:41:00 | Looks like its a common prob (www.google.co.nz) | Speedy Gonzales (78) | |
