1209999 2011-06-17 05:33:00 I have with me here a 3rd-gen iPod Touch. When it's connected to the computer, the "low battery charging" screen comes up. However, it stays on that screen for longer than 10 minutes (IE doing nothing). It does not come up on device manager either. I am presuming that the battery is ****ed and am willing to buy a new one and replace it. Therefore, can anyone give me a different reason as to what else it could be? bot (15449)

IDK if it is. As mentioned before it cannot connect to the computer at all. I have also pressed the 'Home' and 'Lock' buttons together at the same time but nothing happened. It has been tested on two computers with different USB ports.

1210002 2011-06-17 09:47:00 Pricing is high for repair - support.apple.com

Check your warranty here: selfsolve.apple.com

Was it jailbroken? - If it is dead, then apple will still replace. - My one wouldn't turn on and had it replaced under warranty.

OK, next time I go to Aucks I'll check it out.

I'll try an Apple Store or a YooBee if the warranty is still OK.
