| 1209236 | 2011-06-14 09:26:00 | In Christchurch and just wondering why ping time to local server is 74ms and Wellington is 51ms. In fact most North Island servers have shorter ping times than the local Chch server. Download speed from Wellington is usually the same or faster than Chch server. |

Then again although most of the hardware in Christchurch is still working, some of the cabinets and cables are still damaged, not to the point where they must be replaced but to the point where the signal would degrade a bit. |
