Because Weka and Pukeko aren't endangered, Weka were introduced to the Chathams Islands where they are allowed to be killed as they are breeding extremely well, I personally didn't like the taste of Weka when i was a kid probably would like it now though. |

Never ate any native birds but we used to roast possum in a biscuit tin oven. The biscuit tin was covered in earth and we had a fire underneath. | Bobh (5192) | ||
