This massive and history making society used woman for procreating and men for pleasure. They would not have even considered using a woman for pleasure, it just wasn't done. This is by no means the entire country or even the whole army but was a lot of them, probably the same ratio as today but the axis reversed. May I ask how two people having intercourse and of the same sex can create a child? Making relationships of various kinds legal does not make it right. At one stage it was not legal to be homosexual in NZ but at the same time you could be lesbian and not charged with an offence. You state that men did not use women for pleasure in the army so can I assume you think that the conquerors did not commit rape on women but rather took the men for that purpose? I can, and do discriminate and personally I do not really care that you think I should not. I would assume that you also discriminate as in the next time you go shopping you will leave some brands on the shelf for reasons like it's not made in NZ or contains MSG or not organic etc. Why, also, may I ask did you feel it necessary to use asterisks in your post? I also feel sorry for those who read books by P.G.Wodehouse where it may say that XYZ went to Brighton and had a gay time for example. Perhaps you could beat your your head against a different brick wall if it makes you feel better. Possibly it may help you to know why I have the attitude I do have though. At age 14-15 I was approached by a homosexual for sex. I told him I thought I liked girls and he told me that male sex was not as naughty as I had been told. I did not know what sex was at that time anyway. Having said that I guess I was curious and may have been more receptive to advances. Don't think he stalked, as in following me, but was getting persistent and I had to say no several times. Hence I left the job. In those days it was easy to get another job.	Snorkbox (15764)
