Cables look fine to me... I would have put a fan in the back of the case though.

And a better PSU. :p

1179100 2011-02-20 07:45:00 I did the best cable management I could do with that PSU/Case. peoples opinions on the quality of my work??

Well......................does it go?
Nah just kidding.
It's tidy enough but the blatant disregard for warranty means I'd never go near it nor recommend anyone else does either.

And the PSU still sucks.

Well, since you asked, in my opinion it looks like you haven't even started to tidy the wiring. Four or five small cable ties would have made a huge difference, but as it stands it looks like it was just thrown togwether.

Everything else is bolted or screwed in place, so cabling is the only factor you have to play with, hence my somewhat critical opinion. Looming and lead-dress are simple to carry out and would improve significantly the impression of professionalism.

Cheers

If I'd brought the parts I would have . thats what we get and it'd enough to work :s - this is a school remember . can't do things to recommended standards remember . just minimum lol .

-- If someone of PC world were to buy I'm sure I could slip another fan or two in though cause I'm so nice . Gigabyte 80 or 120mm's

Tell me about it . I was a bit concerned that the academy would do that . but hell its what it requires . . . just not what we'd prefer lol .

Why not just keep it yourself? It's not a bad system all things considered, yeh?!

It is, but I already have a quad core system which is better so its unnecessary . better to recover my money before it devalues .

There's actually about 3 or 4+ cable ties in there already . I couldnt do much cause the case has horrible cable managment and the PSU is ATX and crappy lol .

The CPU fan cable is a good example - do something to it, please .

I did have it tidy; but then it stopped the motion of the fan . its not restricting airflow as it is and its pretty tidy .

Can't you adjust the heatsink's position so that the fan cable is nearest to the CPU fan header and shorten the length of the cable? It looks much tidier and nicer. :)
