Yay! Finally got a call from these turkeys. Indian guy said his name was Jack Thompson ph # 04 9748922 (Wellington - yeh right!). www.virtualpcdoctor.com global maintanance dept. Managed to string him along for about 35-40min until I finally owned up to having used pc's for 20yrs & told him 'he' was the one being scammed - got quite angry at that -lol. Directed me to the windows prefetch folder & said the 80 odd files in there were each infected with 900+ virus's all caused by java infections??? Also reconned that it was useless contacting a local IT person as they could not help me & my NOD32 won't work, only they could remove the virus's. All in all a good half hour entertainment. Unfortunatly they were probably on VOIP and not an expensive toll call.
