1178405 2011-02-15 08:26:00 I also found a job too guys
This means I won't be New Zealand.
I'm working for the provisioning at TelstraClear

and.. my gosh there's actually alot behind the connection/disconnection ... Lots to learn especially the process behind it. It's not as easy as flicking a switch

1178407 2011-02-15 09:43:00 That's great news considering the Economy these days.

I personally wouldn't ever work in a New World or a food place, but hey, If you enjoy it and it gives you money, then that's great.

Why? In the current economic climate, most jobs should not be below you.

i think thats pretty arrogant,

i applied at places i would not normally consider applying at, but i couldnt be picky.

i had to apply anywhere and everywhere.

you try being in my position of applying and getting nowhere for 6 months, then say you wouldnt work in a place like New World or such.

1178411 2011-02-15 10:08:00 I don't really believe the bull with the economy.

Some jobs are more difficult to get in and/or as always been or affected by the recession but there are jobs if you workaround that.

But as a younger person, supermarket work is quite ok.
Experience is the thing. I came out of uni and worked in a "inbound govt" call centre amongst others who may of only did high school or not even that. As a temp.

Some of you may know that I did a IT training, to me it seems thou it's harder for me to get a entry IT job than a higher paying job that I have experience in  I would of thought maturity and "generic" work experience at at least would of helped.

Did you forget to read the bit that says *That's great news considering the Economy these days.*

I congratulated you.

I also fairly expressed my opinion that I, myself would not work in a New World or food place for minimum wage. That is my opinion and preference.

I think it's great that you finally got a job and that you'll be earning money. It's just not the kind of job i would personally apply for.

1178413 2011-02-15 10:46:00 is it telecom though?????

Its a phone, stick in a SIM and it will work.

Might need to change the APN's but that's piss easy. The store can do it also if you like.

I like my new one better, which is the Nokia, it works well for someone as unco as me :)

However if you want a good phone for a cheap price I can offer you this one.

store.telecom.co.nz

PM me if you want details.
