As soon as i picked it up the delay alerted me who it was, just as the were introducing them selves i slammed it back down. Wnakers What about telling them that it hasn't slowed down but is actually working a lot quicker and can they fix that? Of course, then the messages you get on the screen would be two quick to read, so try each one three or four times before you "get it" :o

1178773 2011-02-18 23:28:00 There is a programme on National Radio at the moment about this scam (Saturday Feb 19). www.radionz.co.nz

Thus far, no audio has been posted, but if you check back later you may find something.

1178774 2011-02-19 00:54:00 The audio has been loaded on the Nat Radio website at the url given above. You too can listen to the Indian guy who claims he is running the operation from Auckland... John H (8)

1178777 2011-02-19 07:37:00 you could try something like this. It's fake (I've heard two version and both telemarketers have exactly the same replies to the questions) but good all the same

1178778 2011-02-20 05:42:00 My sis in Oz called me earlier today. One of her mates got caught out with this scam. She paid $250 to whoever. For the $250, they disabled task scheduler, (this stops task scheduler, and SR from working), windows event log, disabled write an event to the system log, changed write debugging info to none.

This is on Vista. Installed ccleaner, malwarebytes, which has picked up 16 infections so far (I'm in her system now, fixing it up). Altho, the system may have been infected, since she / they were using bearshare and frostwire (both have now been removed)
