| 1179156 | 2011-02-17 08:00:00 | If you got Skype going then I take it you're un-capped again? ;) Yes, I had a lot of research to do for a client and could hardly work with the lower speed, so I paid up the $10 and upped the quota to 20GB. At the end of the month I'll tie a rope around my son's vital bits, hook it to the towbar of my car then reduce the quota back to 10GB again. Took nearly two days for Telecom to activate but it was the weekend so no complaints. Cheers Billy 8-{) |

I have a 10Gb contract with Paradise, and have never come close to exceeding that. Other usage is email, internet browsing, downloading files. We turn off Skype when not using it for a call - we all txt each other to set up each call. Billy, the first departure can be a trifle traumatic... If our experience is anything to go by with our three departing for all sorts of places (the Antarctic for a year, and various places in the Northern Hemisphere), there is frequent contact in the first weeks. Gradually that tails off as the departed one separates out from reliance on the old life and develops all sorts of involvements with the new. The trick is not to take it personally when they don't seem to need you as much as they once did! |
