1178907	2011-02-18 02:35:00	Cube-dwellers are not in the normal line of sight in some offices, although this is supposed to be an open floor plan but no-one steps up and looks over the short walls to check on someone. If the sound of a computer keyboard or a phone ringing had been heard - perhaps she'd have been found sooner. Who knows. Now in many offices, management infuses the idea that what another employee's doing is none of your business and a strict hands/eyes-off attitude exists. Privacy issues and certain eyes-only conditions exist in some of those jobs and perhaps the edict to stay away was well enforced. I wonder if she was on a salary or an hourly wage?
