1210198 2011-06-18 03:12:00 When we start IE 8 we get a massage” Tab has been recovered” and then IE shuts down. The message only flashes, that is, it appears very briefly then IE shuts down. If we start IE with “add-ons” disabled it starts up OK. When we double click in the IE icon, it returns the fault and shuts down. If we right click, start IE with add-ons disabled it appears to run OK. Not sure what the add-ons are or what they do. Prior to the fault, we just double clicked on the IE icon and it all started and worked OK. What do I need to do to return to the double click on the icon rather that going through the right click option?
The laptop is using XP SP3
