| 1210151 | 2011-06-18 00:02:00 | Hi all, I have an "ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470" now when trying to update my drivers for this I go via the ATI website and go through the steps of selecting from their drop-down menus Component Category: Notebook Graphics Product Line: Radeon HD Series Product Model: Mobility Radeon HD 5xxx Series Operating System: Windows 7 - 64 Bit Which takes me to this page: support.amd.com I download the 1.1MB file and after removing all previous driver versions I get the attached error that reads: The version of your graphics adapter is not supported. Please contact your notebook manufacturer for a graphics driver update So I went to the Sony website; as my laptop is a Sony VAIO - VPCEB15FG and found myself on the driver download page for my model (www.sony-asia.com) and selected the Downloads tab and chose 64 Bit Windows 7 Operating system, but under Software Patches there is nothing for Graphics Card Drivers. Under Original Drivers the last version for the Graphics Card is 30th of March 2010 which is obviously outdated. Can someone please point me in the right direction of updating my current Graphics Card Driver for - ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470. All help is appreciated, Thanks |

Download the .zip file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference). 2. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and unzip the .zip file. 3. Double-click the .exe file to start the installation 4. Follow the installation wizard that appears and when the installation finishes, please restart the computer if needed. |
