| 1211096 | 2011-06-22 04:30:00 | Having a problem with the scanner that is little used at home. Need it now and again and wonder if anyone on the north shore has had any experience in repairing it. The same type new is about $350.00, is it worth trying for a repair? Have reinstalled the software from the disc and downloaded the latest driver, but still the same. It scans for about 96% then stops, no results showing. Any advice appreciated..Ron.. |

You could probably take it in the be looked at, but I wouldnt think you would get much change out of $350 if any at all. If it was me, I would upgrade to the 5600F if you want to stay with Canon and take advange of newer technology, its pretty much the same price. Good luck. |
