| 1210882 | 2011-06-21 03:16:00 | I just upgraded my office PC to an i3 with Intel video integrated, the mobo has one VGA one HDMI and one DVI, I'm just wondering if I throw in my GeForce 8600GT will I be able to run up to 4 monitors? or does the onboard video get disabled as usual? | Deimos (5715) | ||
| 1210883 | 2011-06-21 07:41:00 | I have 2 monitors running on my PC at work. One via the on-board video (VGA) and one via a video card (DVI). This works ok..... | ManUFan (7602) | ||
| 1210884 | 2011-06-22 01:08:00 | you wont know till you try. Probhably not with some newish intel chipsets . SOME intel based motherboards, by design, automatically disable onboard vid when a PCIe card is plugged in. There is no way around this, its part of the chipsets spec. Because it works on another completely different PC means nothing. |
