| 1210613 | 2011-06-19 23:30:00 | Hello all, I'm wanting to replace my aging Pc with a all-in-one PC. Something that doesnt take up so mauch room as a full or mini tower case. Its not for gaming so much these days so doesnt need to be too highly spec'd. I'd like to keep to under $2k. Whats peoples opinions of these such machines; Acer Aspire Z5710 PC www.ascent.co.nz Asus EeeTop PC ET2011ET-B017E PC www.ascent.co.nz Cheers, |

| 1210615 | 2011-06-20 01:09:00 | Id imagine these will be horrendously expensive to repair out of warranty. Perhaps a 17" laptop instead ?? The Asus has reasonable(good) spec's. Not sure why PCTek compared it to a netbook ??? Intel Pentium Dual-Core E5700 3.0 GHz,Win 7 Home Premium 64-bit, 20" |

And a pain in the butt while in warranty  Looked at one recently, and the powerpack had died after about 2 months. Noel Lemons can source a replacement but they're on "backorder" and will take a couple of months to arrive. |

These are more than adequate specs, for a desktop  Netbooks are usually around the 1.8Ghz range. www.ascent.co.nz Asus Laptops from the same site are lower spec'ed for considerably higher price |
