1179826 2011-02-19 22:02:00 Can anyone recommend (or test) somewhere close to Ellerslie I can get a couple of 250v ceramic fuses tested - and replace if necessary?

This is a DIY attempt to troubleshoot a TV that doesn't not work. Anymore. :(

1179827 2011-02-19 23:07:00 Don't you have a Multimeter at home? PJ Poppa John (284)

If the fuse has blown then there is a problem with the circuitry that the fuse is protecting, say the power supply.

If the fuse has blown and is replaced, it will just blow again.

There is a remote faint possibility one of the 2 fuses has just got tired and quietly given up the ghost though.

If you don't have a multimeter then just a flash light bulb and battery with fuse in series to test continuity.
