There is no mention where that blog was copied and pasted from. I would have thought blogger etiquette would be to acknowledge the original source/author. :illogical |

| 1180039 | 2011-03-09 00:46:00 | Ok well that certainly makes me feel a little better lol It's quite normal - if you've ever seen wildlife doco's with lions etc, they all do it too; we have two cats, the older of which we had first, and I used to playfight with all the time when she was a small kitten; she's an excellent hunter, and loves the usual rough & tumble that most cats enjoy. Our second cat was never really interested in playfighting, and she's never caught a bird yet - I've watched her trying, and she's really got no idea. So yes, it's an important part of their development IMO, whether it's with you or another cat. Just as an aside Huey, I'm really pleased your kitteh survived the quake; I was actually too scared to ask in case it didn't! :dogeye: |

I would have thought blogger etiquette would be to acknowledge the original source/author. :illogical I've kept cats for the last 40 years and in that time I have toilet trained many cats, so I don't need to rip off other people's work. I find toilet training a cat is relatively easy and simple. I take a no-nonsense approach. The cat needs to know who is boss. But some people have problems training a cat to do anything as they believe that cat's cannot be trained because that it what people have told them. Cats can be trained to do almost anything you want them to do, but many people do not have the patience which only goes to prove, in their minds, the incorrect assumption that cats cannot be trained. My blog was not copied from anywhere - I am writing from experience. Besides, I can't see the point or advantage of copying a blog from someone else.:illogical |

Try to contain him to the room you spend the most time in so you can watch him most of the time. Close all bedroom doors and barricade other areas that do not have doors. Do not allow your new cat full run of the house. Contain him to the room you spend the most time in so you can watch him and make it easier and quicker to toilet train your cat. Example two: If the kitten uses the litter box give him lots of praise. If he doesn't use it don't force the issue. You must never use a raised voice or make him afraid of the litter box in any way. When your cat uses the litter box give him lots of praise. If he doesn't use it don't force him. You must never use a raised voice to toilet train your cat or you may make him afraid of it. Example three: Establish a routine of placing your kitten in the litter box at hourly intervals throughout the day. He may not want to go every hour but this will reinforce the idea of where you want him to go. It also helps avoid too many accidents. It also helps avoid too many accidents. Changing kitten to cat, or switching around other words or the order of words in a sentence is still considered plagiarism. I posted the link to the Aussie website early in this thread, which is why I recognised where you sourced your blog content. |

| 1180043 | 2011-03-09 04:02:00 | I read that Aussie webpage and posted a link to it on 20-02-2011. Roscoe created his blog on 03-03-2011. I should add most posts that are plagiarised or even directly copied and pasted stand out like sore thumbs. A few members here do this regularly and don't mention or credit the source. Really bugs me. |
