1180015 2011-02-21 02:22:00 She shouldn't go outside until after her vaccinations .

You know Jen, as my vet confessed......... Their vaccinations are like peoples flu injections.

It protects only against that particular strain, not all varieties of the illnesses. And they can still get it.

Like one of mine did.

I used to prefer my flatmate's kitten running up my leg to running up the curtains. They were really thick and the little jerk left distinct claw-holes.

1180020 2011-02-21 02:58:00 She does run up legs, hasnt attempted curtains yet but pretty much everything is something to climb. I dont mind her climbin up when im in jeans but she needs to learn that skin is not something to grab hold of hueybot3000 (3646)
1180021 2011-02-21 03:48:00 Never fear, within a couple months it will have lost all interest in you. Metla (12)

1180024 2011-02-21 10:02:00 Our cat did some crazy things as a kitten.
One day it had been raining and she was looking out the open upstairs window at the water dripping. She tried to catch the drips, but overbalanced and fell out onto the roof and slid down into the gutter. She started walking up and down in the water in the gutter flicking her paws and meowing loudly. I rushed outside but couldn't reach her so I went in to get a ladder. She must have thought I had abandoned her, so she jumped - around 3 m !! I heard the thump and saw a little bundle of fur crumpled on the path. I thought she'd killed herself, but as I approached, she jumped up and started bouncing around me as normal.
