1179700 2011-02-19 00:45:00 But no point having it if you cant record it. It wont record C4 anyway (with no sound). The program stops working. Its the only channel that kills the program (if you try and record). Other channels are fine Speedy Gonzales (78)
1179701 2011-02-19 01:09:00 Well, I for one am confused by some of the posts above.

I have a TV with inbuilt freeview tuner, and am using it on a terrestrial aerial.

On Channel 009, I get a channel that is labelled C4 on the tuning screen, and the pix has one of those intrusive logos - C4 on the bottom left of the screen.

Oh, and I have pix and audio.

On Sky, there is a channel that calls itself Four, and it is not C4.

1179702 2011-02-19 01:30:00 I would say someone has stuffed streaming or something up (as in the link I posted). Since sound works for some (out of Auckland area). But, doesnt work for others (In Auckland). Altho, it looks like people over the shore get sound Speedy Gonzales (78)
1179703 2011-02-19 03:12:00 John,
Channel 9 is C4.
Channel 4 is FOUR.

Pretty straight forward - they're two different channels.

1179704 2011-02-19 03:31:00 Thanks Wolf. I recall C4 taking over from C42.

C4 is a bit confusing for another reason - name of a coffee shop...
