Honestly you got to stop thinking of just yourself and look at the big picture :) I got a bit of a surprise late last year from Contact Energy. It appears that we peasant customers are some sort of shareholders. Instead of me owing them a bag of gold to pay for my electricity that month they actually owed me about $30 which came off the following months bill. It appears the more that you spend during the year the larger your dividend is. I could not lay my hands on the paperwork so I am uncertain why Contact Energy were handing out money. |

A Government cockup(selling power generators /retailers) in the first place anyway! |
