| 1179755 | 2011-02-19 02:15:00 | I ran a small computer repair and retail shop and get most of my supplies from 4 main large distributors. Tec Pac, Dove, Synex and Golden leaf. I want to extend the products I can sell but cannot find a list of Distributors. Some online shops sell products cheaper that I can get them from my suppliers so there must be some serious undercutting going on. Can anyone help me out and point me to a listing site. |

Most of the manufacturers have a list of the various countries wholesalers on their sites . There is also Altech - they do ASUS, Gigabyte and Corsair among other things . But . Price is dependant on how much you buy for one thing, and there are those shops who import direct . For instance Ifocus is owned by Iway - Iway for wholesale and Ifocus for retail . So they supply themselves . Be careful about cheap wholesalers - they are as dodgy as the ripoff retailers . Zcom for instance, although some of what he gets is direct from Ingram . And he has no after sales service . If you want an argument when you try to RMA something then go right ahead . Forget trying to compete on price and do it on SERVICE, which is sadly lacking in 90% of computer places I've come across . |

I have been going now for 5 years and soon realized I could not compete on price, and people would support me if I gave good service. I dont spend enough time on research now days as I seem to be flat out but would like to be able to sell other brands like samsung etc. |
