2011-06-27 02:06:00 | I have this strange problem: i was trying to scan my notebook with bitdefender from safe mode, it starts scanning but in few seconds it shutdowns. then was trying to run chkdsk but happened same. computer isn't even worm, so its not a problem of heating. now I started computer with normal mode and it works perfectly. any idea what it can be?

2011-06-27 02:09:00 | Did it shut down or crash? There's a difference | Speedy Gonzales (78) | |
2011-06-27 02:12:00 | no it just turns off like unplugging | chumscrubber (16416) | |
2011-06-27 02:51:00 | Could be bitdefender, if thats the only time it shuts down. Its not exactly user friendly. And its known to cause probs | Speedy Gonzales (78) | |
2011-06-27 03:10:00 | not only bitdefender, during he chkdisk process it also turns off :( | chumscrubber (16416) | |

2011-06-27 03:29:00 | Look in event viewer (go to start/run) type eventvwr.msc. Look under windows logs / system. See what it says (about the time it shuts down) | Speedy Gonzales (78) | |
2011-06-27 12:10:00 | There is nothing about shutting down:( Thanks anyway :)

2011-06-27 13:26:00 | Question 1> What OS are you running? Question2> Do these programmes crash in normal mode as well, or only in safe mode?
