1212321 2011-06-26 22:26:00 Hey guys!,

Need some major help. I am starting to get blue screens after I installed new RAM, CPU, MOBO, and GTX550ti video card. The blue screens come when i try to play a game...and now are coming randomly maybe every 3 hours or more. I recently figured out that my video card failed the stress test and needs to be replaced. My question is does it have to do with my RAM as well? I definetly know that the RAM is not on the "compatible list" of certain models...Although lots of people say that its fine. Here are some memory dumps and event logs. Please help!!

1212324 2011-06-26 22:38:00 it says caused by athrxusb.sys Striker08 (16439)
1212325 2011-06-26 22:43:00 Thats your wireless LAN adapter. Thats the cause of the crashing. I would either uninstall them. Or see if there's a later version of the drivers. Is Mcafee on this?? It can also cause the 0x000000d1 stop error. Is this a desktop or laptop?? The kernel power stop error maybe / can be caused by an out of date BIOS Speedy Gonzales (78)
1212326 2011-06-26 22:46:00 wow...totally thought it was an issue with my video card or memory....i installed two LAN drivers one that didnt have an up to date bios and a 2nd lan driver that has the up to date bios. I just unistalled the lan driver that is not up to date...dont use that one any way Striker08 (16439)
1212327 2011-06-26 22:58:00 The BIOS on the computer itself, not the BIOS on these LAN cards. See how it goes now then (if you've uninstalled the wireless USB adapter drivers).

If it crashes again (with the 0x00000041 - kernel power stop error), it maybe your power supply (if this is a desktop). Or you may have to update the BIOS on the computer

And if Mcafee is on this, I would uninstall it. It can cause crashes with wireless or ethernet

1212328 2011-06-26 23:05:00 I have an up to date bios on the MB. As well as a new 700W PSU...I also just reformatted and reinstalled my OS. Striker08 (16439)
1212329 2011-06-26 23:11:00 Sweet OK. Well lets see if its fine now then Speedy Gonzales (78)
1212330 2011-06-26 23:15:00 Thanks for the quick replies. I will post again if something happens. Just waiting for my replacement video card to arrive to hopefully solve the last problem Striker08 (16439)
