1182033 2011-02-28 03:46:00 I've lost a 5 or 6 over the years, but they take up very little space (just a couple of those big round plastic things that carried 50 CD-R's) so I've still got just about all of them. There are a few missing from the days before I got a CD drive though.

The earliest I have is Disk 2 of the September 1996 "Windows 95 utilities The best toolkit ever" then a PC World Plus Disk No. 1 from April 1997 when Windows 95 was still all the rage! I have 1, 4, 6, 7, & 8 of that series (they came in jewel cases too!) then I start again at May 2000 and have just about every disk from there up to the present month.

I think they started earlier than 1995 though, but I probably didn't have a computer then.

Cheers

1182034 2011-02-28 03:50:00 I have a disk that says "Personal Computer World" and its yellow. Its dated April 1995. I'm unsure if it has anything to do with PCWORLD though.

The earliest one i have is Dec 06/Jan 07 Celebrating 200 issues. I have the magaszine too.

Then i have the december 07/jam 08 mag and dvd.

I have every mag and dvd from april 2008 onwards

1182035 2011-02-28 04:00:00 December 2004/January 2005 is my oldest (disc and magazine) :p

I have all of them since, although there were two months somewhere where the disc wasn't produced at all.

1182036 2011-02-28 04:11:00 Bugger!I biffed all mine just before Christmas (along with the Netguide one's) but, being the hoarder that I am, they would have been going back to the mid 90's, or whenever they started. I remember getting really steamed up when they switched from CDs to DVDs cos my computer at the time wouldn't handle them.

I thought about giving the ones I chucked out to the local clay pigeon shooting club. I'f you stuck a few together they might be heavy enough for a decent flight!! :clap

Know how you feel! I had all the mags too but Mrs T had a bit of a fit about them five or six years back, called me a hoarder (cheek!), so I put the lot out for recycling and started collecting again. She didn't notice my Radio & Hobbies / Radio TV & Hobbies / Electronics Australia collection going back to the early 1940's so I cut my losses. I don't have a full set of those, but I have most from the very first copy (a facsimile I'm afraid) right though to the last issue, by which time it was crap.

Cheers

PS I'm not that old, I've bought up the earlier R&H via TM.

1182039 2011-02-28 07:38:00 I had about ten years worth, but they mostly got burgled and they were one thing I didn't get back when the Police collared the offenders. Twelvevolts (5457)
1182040 2011-02-28 11:18:00 Oldest disc that I have IIRC probably goes back to '97. Not that it's in readable condition. ubergeek85 (131)
1182041 2011-02-28 11:30:00 When you move from a three bedroom house with a garage to a one bedroom flat with a small shed some things have to go. I don't have any left. :) Snorkbox (15764)
