CHRISTCHURCH EARTHQUAKE APPEAL: Call 0900 RED CROSS (0900 733 27) to make a $20 donation (NZ Residents). This is legit - it appeared on TV ONE this morning and the phone number is on the Red Cross website. | 1181949 | 2011-02-28 02:54:00 | I went out this am and bought two banana boxes full of fruit, veges, and bread and dropped it off at the depot in Rangiora where they are doing the food run (three helicopters full time shuttling hot meals to ChCh). We are dropping off spare bedding as well. It seemed a good idea at the time rather than donating money, but it remains to be seen what they would prefer. | John H (8) | ||
