I think the public does sometimes forget there's more that goes on in the world than what appears on the rectangle at 6 and 10:30 pm. I hope you're doing ok desade. However there really isn't a lighter side to any of this, especially not while the death toll is still rising. But just forget and move on right goodiesguy? Ignore the names of the deceased being released on the news? Ignore the fact we can't go into town / some suburbs? Ignore the fact we can't drive down roads that aren't messed up? Ignore the fact we are still getting aftershocks (one at the time of writing this)? Want me to keep going? It hasn't even been a week. This earthquake will affect us directly for months, if not years. You would probably have a different view if you lost your home, friends/family etc. edit: Beaten by two posts, thanks Desade for reminding me he's that child though. Won't bother arguing with him either. |
