Even he says it's a guess.

Once again. Ken Ring does have some facts.

The problem arises from what the interpretation of those facts are and what they actually mean.

That is always the case with subjective validation, only one person can ever interpret the facts, generally can't be taught to anyone else. And the facts only become clear usually after the event they "predict".

So based on the typical pattern of these things, Ken will be able to look at his data now and observe that it did indeed predict this Earthquake.

1182471 2011-03-11 14:33:00 A more simple explanation for Ken Ring's web site being down, rather than him editing same, could be a Denial of Service attack. I'm not saying that is the only explanation but it would fit with the only known fact of the site being down.

No doubt that explanation would not fit with your prediction and therefore you could just dismiss it out of hand as you possibly may do.

Even more offal coming down that Gorge than when the abbatoir was there. Are you sure it's gone?

1182472 2011-03-11 18:23:00 I dunno why you feel Ken Ring deserves our time, are you on medication? maybe you need to be?

Do you think Uranus has caused this?

You are under absolutely no obligation to comment on anything or indeed read any post.

Indeed your contributions would be missed for all the wrong reasons.

Now off you go back to your PlayStation. :D

1182473 2011-03-11 19:03:00 Sorry, but in my book you are missing the salient points .

He is not really putting up a theory or theories, he is suggesting that the tidal effect of the moon can trigger earthquakes .

Let’s concentrate on playing the "Ball" not the "Man" .

I wouldn’t know Ken Ring if I tripped over him in the street, so it would be completely out of order for me to comment on his mental state, unlike others on here .

However, as has been repeated ad nauseam and as you have confirmed above, the question is: “Could the position of the Sun Moon and Planets have an effect on triggering earthquakes?” (Tidal effect if you like) .

Many of us don’t see why not, and all those with opposing views have produced in their defence is personal abuse against Ken Ring and anyone prepared to hear him out .

It is well documented that almost all of the great Physicists were considered nut cases by some, at some point in their careers .

I’m not saying that Ken Ring will ever be remembered as a great Physicist, or even be remembered at all for that matter, but in the meantime his opponents have put up not a scrap of evidence to suggest he is completely wrong .

So, until that evidence is provided my mind will remain open . :)

1182474 2011-03-11 20:02:00 So the way I see it, some people here will believe anything unless it's absolutely proven to be false beyond doubt and some the will believe in nothing without absolute facts.

Personal Id prefer facts, but more amazed this thread is still going.

I think you are wrong Rob. Some people won't even accept the most cast iron proofs.
Or maybe they are just trolls.

Btw how many cat owners on here have bought Ken Ring's book - Pawmistry: How to Read Your Cat's Paws.

1182476 2011-03-11 20:21:00 I hope after this earthquake in Japan people will now discredit the ring earthquake prediction theory.
Makes me sick that idiots can believe in this moon goon stuff.
