Did you notice under “The Effect of the Moon” which reads I quote: “The moon has a noticeable effect on the earth in the form of tides, but it also affects the motion and orbit of the Earth.”

And our little plant does the same thing to the sun
EDIT: Actually all the planets do it

Right...Newton's First Law of Motion, to every action there is an equal and opposite reaction...........not that, judging by some of the posts, many seem to have heard of Newton or Kepler for that matter.

1182400 2011-03-08 21:35:00 I got it wrong too :) That was Newtons Third Law of motion

First Law: A body remains in its state of rest or uniform motion in a straight line unless it is acted upon by external forces.

Second Law: Rate of change of momentum is proportional to the impressed force and takes place in the same direction as that of the force.

Probably a direct result of excessive exposure to Lucas during his formative years.

According to the well known astrophysicist Samantha Carter, a wormhole propagated through a big solar flare will cause the wormhole to terminate at its starting point but in a different time.

Ken Ring is not alone, a bloke called Frank Glasby has similar ideas, but he also believes that human disturbance on the surface of the earth affects earthquakes:
