| 1181166 | 2011-02-24 04:23:00 | Dropped by signwriter to make me signs for my seagull race boat SS Erlangen. Just had second thoughts about the spelling/ grammar This is what I want and have left at the signwiters Guess i have a day or so before he makes the signs + In memorial to the SS Erlangen sunk by the Englanders 25 July 1941 Should it be memorial or memory? Thanks for any help the + is a cross like the one they nailed JC to. |

| 1181173 | 2011-02-24 05:40:00 | Or: "SS Erlangen sunk by the English 25 July 1941. In memoriam." | johcar (6283) | ||
| 1181174 | 2011-02-24 05:41:00 | AS far as I am aware there is no such word as Englander. A quick search of my Dictionaries, Thesaurus and Google indicate this may be so. Perhaps those old war comics we used to get might use it. I go with pctec |
