1463730 2019-09-16 03:48:00 if you arrive before it's hooked up, they can't tow you.
If it's hooked up or they left, tough.

Signage, if it's obscured or you didn't see it, tough.

They have your car. Want it back now, you'll have to pay them regardless .
Towies know they can get away with almost anything, you have to pay up. Then its your word against theirs .

Im pretty sure if you're in the car they cant tow it. So if you jump in the car after they hook it up you may get lucky, untill they beat the crap out of you & you jump out again.

Towing something , or being towed away ?
or the 3rd meaning , not sure that has any laws covering it :) Yes you can flash your big toe in public or dress it as you see fit.

"There is no legal requirement for private property owners to display a warning that cars will be towed if parked illegally"

No. I got a ticket just before I moved, no dispute there, illegally parked, but traffic guy called towies as he printed the ticket.
I saw truck coming, ran over and got there as truck stopped. Sorry I said.

Towie was quite snotty, he moved truck into middle of road and blocked me until I said to traffic guy, give this man a ticket for parking in the road and blocking other cars.
Towie wheelied off..........

They cannot tow you or charge oyu if you get there before they hook it up.
And they know it.

1463734 2019-09-16 06:52:00 Should this not this clearly be in Chat?? My thought for today, is that if we cannot govern these simple
things, then PressF1 and Chat will disappear, then I, for one, would be really sad.

If members respond as if this does not matter, then everything becomes 'muddy'. I rest my case.

Of course, but is it really that big a deal. Its allen238's first post after all.
Its only a one off mistake from a newcomer , not the first sign of total anarchy :)

Really? Mods would wipe the entire forum because something got posted in the wrong section?
Nah, I think they'd just move it. Like they usually do.

Nah, I think they'd just move it. Like they usually do.I've only once (or twice?!) accidentally deleted a thread due to bad merge/move combo. Awkward. :xmouth:

Thread moved.
