1460118 2019-04-23 09:46:00 Bought this ex-leased PC with Win10 Pro installed. Windows Version 1511 (OS Build 10586.1176). Check for Updates shows that it is up to date.

Would like to change the active hours to install the updates,

But, how?

Went to, Settings -> Update & Security -> Windows Update .... no Change Active hours option available!

Under Advance Options, there are:

notify to schedule restart / Automatic (recommended)

. Give me updates for other Microsoft products when I update Windows
. Defer upgrades

View your update history
Choose how updates are delivered. : No Changing Active Hours options available ....

Where can I find it?

1460119 2019-04-23 09:58:00 Active Hours were added in 1607 so isn't in the version you list. 1511 is quite out of date and even unsupported now, so best to upgrade using either the upgrade assistant or via a clean install. pcuser42 (130)

1460121 2019-04-23 10:25:00 Yep 1511 is years out of date (and support ended).

The "Current" public version is 1809.

1903 is due out any time now.

When you get the upgrade to 1903, the active hours are easy to find, Settings -- updates and security are the options, under Advanced you will find more options.

This is the 1903 basic options:

Ours are on auto update, BH's PC goes fine, but this lappy is a dog's breakfast after every auto.

Will be upgrading my desktop to dual boot and will get the technician to help sort it out properly. W10 that is.
