1460485 2019-05-05 21:04:00 When I right-clicked the direct link in #20, it only gives me options to save link as, save link to pocket .
Can't download the file.

Please advise. Save link as.

As mentioned if you use a different browser to download the link it works fine, BUT not every browser is worded the same.

Some have Save link as, save As , If for example you left click the link in using Edge a save window pops up and you click save. all the same thing.

www.bleepingcomputer.com Yeah what a joke, reading the article FF want you to drop your security, and as its mentioned may still not work, AND the report says the first fix didn't work, wasn't till the third it did -- Think they need better programmers who actually know what they are doing and know how to test software.

Three release candidates of Firefox 66.0.4 have been created, with the first one being pulled as it did not properly resolve the addon problems.

Often Linux updates are behind. Lucky the about:config fix worked for me.

1460489 2019-05-05 22:52:00 Thanks 1101. I've used FF since forever but might stay with Chrome now having had these last few days really getting used to it. Bookmarks is better but I can't find an option to put the vertical scroll bar on the left in Chrome. bellbird (6169)
1460490 2019-05-06 00:05:00 Firefox went bye-bye long ago when they decided to copy Chrome. Agent_24 (57)
1460491 2019-05-06 00:27:00 Firefox went bye-bye long ago when they decided to copy Chrome.

FF seems to take away really usefull functions every now & then.
Leaving me not wanting to upadate FF, as I wonder what will no longer work after they randomly disable features on the new versions.

When you have to install 3rd party addons to put FF features back in .....:badpc: :badpc:

1460492 2019-05-06 01:29:00 V66.0.4 fixed the problem but see this comment "In order to use this system you need to enable the Study system. Doing so, though, provides telemetry back to Mozilla regarding how you use Firefox and some consider this a privacy risk.

Not sure if this was a good move.? It appears that the study system was turned on by default so I guess I have been using it for some time.
