Used to travel home after work (6 miles) 9.65 k's and had time to take mum and the kids to the beach before tea, those were the days !.

Daylight saving can be a bugger when it's introduced but planing a couple of days before of slightly earlier mornings can soften the introduction

Found it great as you could go out afterwards ,barbi's,water skiing or beach if close

These days milking can be once a day (new since my days) and tanker times can be around the clock and can be lucky or unlucky with times coinciding with milking

Used to find if you milked later in the afternoon they were all waiting and milking was a breeze with no crap in the shed as they wanted to head straight out again

The cows take a day or two to adjust so it's no big deal for the farmers.:)

Article about it in Stuff this morning.
SOME farmers like it, some don't.

It also mentioned the rules around shift workers, their hour during the change over night.

1464089 2019-10-04 05:45:00 More faded curtains :(

Sorry, but there's less fading of the curtains. ;) They're open earlier, so the sun is kept off by the SPF 597.342 walls for an extra hour. Sadly for the carpets, they get an extra hour / day. (It's curtains for the carpets, ;) )
