1464408 2019-10-09 19:18:00 Filipino women.
Well, did the guy have a will?
Was he with the woman for 3 years or more?

I guess the kids could take it to court, only the lawyers win in those situations.

I can understand it, dad imports some women, usually way younger, in his old age...and why do these women do this?

Have a look at what circumstances they have left behind.

women wanting financial security , so will hook up with much older guys.
Its just the same in kiwi-kiwi relationships. Rich young dudes , or good looking young dudes are of course attracted to the hotties .
Young hotties allways gravitate to rich or good looking guys. Its no different with Philippine or women .

Anyway wills arnt worth the paper they are written on , they can be challenged by the kids & wife . And thats they way it should be. If the eldest child spends 15years looking after
old parent but gets nothing in the will, thats hardly fair or just . Fav kid shouldnt get it all .

Also , Prenuptial agreements could be overturned in court , thats becoming more and more common overseas .

That's a rhetorical question right?

No, that's a question that men will never figure out. :clap:clap:clap

A bit like the meaning of Life, the world and the Universe! Which of course we know is 42

1464413 2019-10-09 23:08:00 Seems to be a bit biased against Fillipinos. Sister in law is a kiwi, got divorced and found new european guy who she was with for 28 years before he passed. His two kids around 40 did absolutely nothing for him and not much contact yet they contested the will (they weren't included) and got far too much of the estate from their pensioner step mother.
Even if someone has a young girl friend or toy boy if their brain is sound it's their choice what to put in the will. Why do they owe anything to their children if they don't want to

Of course.
Yes, there may be a few who genuinely fall in love, but come on,most, men go searching for them, and they are happy to get a better life in exchnage for.
Or sometimes not, sometimes they do a runner later.

happened to a friend of husbands.

1464415 2019-10-10 00:52:00 Slightly off topic.
But I found my filipina g/f by accident.
I just bought a new house, and she was living next door, after splitting up from her kiwi husband.
She asked if I knew Microsoft Wword and how to change a tyre.
I said Of course I knew all about word and Excel and Acess, and how to change a tyre.
But I would not want (or be able to) to change a tyre, but I changed her wheel.

We have been together now for 5 years and she is a bit younger than me, but she treats me well.
And she's not a gold digger, as so many women are.

Go on - we need to know - age difference? Confession is good for the soul.

1464417 2019-10-10 01:58:00 Relationship property is a system of solving inheritance disputes by splitting the contested assets into a 5% pile and a 95% pile. The parties in the dispute carve up the 5% and the legal system fees grab the big bit. (All this after the Infernal revenue service has raided all the bright shiny bits from the original pile for themselves.) ;) R2x1 (4628)
