I will dig them out and mention them on here, in case a member wants them.
Then if not I will try trademe.

1463838 2019-09-19 04:48:00 Many people seem to think if they paid ( lets say) $100 for a motherboard 3 years ago they will get a similar return, in reality if you got $30 you may be doing well.

many things do sell for silly money on trademe.
Theres an i3cpu, RAM & mb at the mo, thats got bids of over $60 , so far
compare that to a complete i5 PC for around $100 :badpc:

Ive given up looking for a replacement AM3+ mb because of some of the trade prices they actually sell for . Why pay $$ for something obselete & may be on its last legs .
And why would anyone pull an old cpu from a working board, and sell the mb by itself. Seems suspicious .

wow an old s3.
the mobo's are not all that old.
i was recently hunting for an AGP graphics card. just tried to get my old pc up and running as a linux box, but it seams its either cpu or mobo failure.

Good skills!
I had a quick look, and its not dust, its dry, but sort of baked on.
So I think its best if I throw that mbo away.
I think its pretty old now and don't think anyone would want one that old.

Both motherboards and cpus etc were working perfectly when I took them out of the case.
It was just that I needed to upgrade.

I'll put a description of the other one up today.

1463844 2019-10-07 23:04:00 It's not just hardware, husband is sitting outside in depression cause we just took a load of plumbing fittings to the tip.
Tried the demolition first but they have too much.

Plumbing stuff costs even more than hardware does, but he's retired, it's just clutter, and should we just leave the stuff sitting for years?
Nope.

And unless you are a plumber, it's not much use...not mixers and stuff, fittings, buteline, a bit of other stuff....misc parts.

Yes, I am basically a horder.

I have got all my old tv, audio cables etc since the 1970s

Lots of CD games and software

I like to keep them in case I need them

But at my age I am trying to downsize a bit in my garage.

So I'm going through them all deciding what to keep and what to sell (ha ha ) or throw away.
