Dish used to be NZ owned and serviced, Idon't know if anything has changed!!? www.dish.com It's now https://www.dishtv.co.nz/ They did get back to me but it wasnt much help. If I select Dish Network as manufacturer it sets up a profile that looks like it should work but dosent. |

Another way is to use two androids (Phone to Tablet), one to control the other using the Tablet Remote App via Bluetooth. See example here for HDTV... | 1463435 | 2019-09-03 05:20:00 | When I say it looks like it should work, I mean it opens a interface that does look similar to the physical remote. If I press any of the commands it makes a sound & a transmit icon flashes just like with the TV one. Just does nothing. Don't think it would be clashing with the TV one, actually had the top box one assigned first. Cant use bluetooth with the top box & as far as I know this app is IR only. Looks like it will go in the too hard basket. |
