| 1460155 | 2019-04-30 22:22:00 | So his Chromecast (actual) arrived. VLC still didn't like it completely, could be settings. Who cares...because it works perfectly with Chrome. So simple, so quick. No messing about, just Cast. Of course, seeing who owns it all. I have discovered a certain mp4 is the wrong codec, it won't cast streaming on their site (or run from USB plugged into TV) but works if downloaded then cast file. Just the codec it's in it seems. never mind, all sorted now and he is quite pleased with it. Not even the latest Chromecast either, V2. |
