1183453 2011-03-07 05:11:00 Nah, XP is better than Vista. XP runs twice as fast and is more compatable than vista.

If it wasn't for Windows 7 being so awesome and fast, i would still be using good old XP Pro.

I'd have vista over xp just for dx10.

BTW this is my favourite M$ fail:

1183455 2011-03-07 05:52:00 Try running DOS applications on Windows Vista. That's something XP still does quite well.

I'm not that old :p

uh, english please?

If you mean it doesn't work for command prompt you want cmd.exe. BTW didn't you say running dos applications not using it's command prompt side?

1183459 2011-03-07 08:20:00 ooops, i meant Dosbox *AND* the command prompt don't count. as they are not native DOS applications in their respect.

DOSbox is a Dos emulator.

and the command prompt is a way of accessing DOS applications and booting into the Windows Operating System.

PS: can one of the moderators correct my spelling mistake on my last post above please? as its meant to say *and* not *as*
