1183680 2011-03-05 10:13:00 Nope, didn't. What do they charge? In Singapore it's like a $3 base charge, and it scales from there based on distance. I guess a 30 minute ride during off-peak hours normally costs around $10 there.

Turns out the place i am at has residential internet, but its on a trial run so we are limited to 20gb per flat at the moment. We cant check our usage, so its kind of risky at the moment, so im limiting my downloads and stuff.

The nearest supermarket is about 10-20 minutes walk away, the problem is walking it uphill while carrying groceries.

A back pack might help carrying the groceries uphill.

Countdown seems to require a $13 charge for a $100-$199 order, and thats too expensive really(hell, if it costs $13 i might as well take the cab!).

There is no such thing ss free shipping anyway, as you are paying for the shipping in an additional margin being charged on the product. It is just an illusion of free shipping.

1183682 2011-03-07 02:19:00 Somewhat true, but its not like american supermarkets charge more for food than NZ supermarkets. If anything, they charge less. Pound for pound, the same amount of minced beef in an american supermarket costs almost 1/3rd less than it does in a NZ one. Question (15792)
1183683 2011-03-07 02:38:00 So move to the USA then? It might help with the shoe problem as well!! Snorkbox (15764)

Is that all :D
I still use film cameras. A roll of slide from the USA cost $5US, here $25NZ.
Ditto to processing so I import my film and I export my undeveloped film.

You could also argue EU vs USA.
Asia vs USA. Not all things are equal or less than the USA.
