Wear them to work as well.

Be great in a race. The opposition would be laughing to hard to run.

1182966 2011-03-05 01:18:00 I went to shoe clinic and ended up buying a pair of Asics GT-2160(www.asicsamerica.com), which was the only shoe that fit me semi-decently well, as my insoles require a wide front and a narrow heel. It still doesnt fit me perfectly since its loose at the back(heel area) though.

It costed me $260 and according to the asics site the retail price should be $100 USD, and many places on the net seem to be selling it for $80 USD...

Did i just get ripped off?

1182970 2011-03-06 02:20:00 Go to Rebel Sport and see what prices they have.
I don't think Shoe Clinic would be that much more ...

NZ's shoes do tend to cost up to $260/280 ...
When they have sales you could save half price.

Those shoes should come with a guerrilla suit.

When I joined the Army we were issued with sand shoes with 1 cm soles which we would go for ten mile runs in. Soldiers were coming up with back pains caused by these shoes. Most of us went out and bought a decent pair of shoes that absorbed the shock.

When you buy running shoes you get what you pay for. The cheaper ones don't last as long nor do they absorb the shock.
