| 1212649 | 2011-06-27 23:57:00 | See Attachment I'm not sure that MWB isn't interfering with normal functions. I can't expand the "Hijack" line to see what it was about. Cheers Billy 8-{) |

| 1212651 | 2011-06-28 10:20:00 | All it means is MWB has found infections and has removed them & put them in Quarantine. But how do I know what the supposed infection was? It seems very strange to me that this should appear on a computer that only I use, and one that never knowingly strays from the straight and narrow, plus it is sitting behind a nat router and firewall. My previous computer remained infection free for years as well, and the one before that had no AV and again, never suffered an infection. I still have the disks and for interest sake (and because I occasionally need to access them), I scanned them all recently in a USB enclosure and they were clean. MSE tells you exactly what the infection is after it is quarantined (that was the worm that was being introduced by my son's USB stick, problem since fixed). I am a little concerned that MWB is flagging items that I cannot identify and I actually wondered if these were "demo alerts" since this happened immediately after a move to the paid version. Is it possible to see the full file name in quarantine or is this all I am going to find? Some professional guidance would be appreciated thanks. Cheers Billy 8-{) |
