Don't think they would cut the grade as safety boots though.

Wow that looks really unusual. Does it cushion your heels and provide a good arch?

1182958 2011-03-02 08:38:00 After a couple of failed tests, running shoes are a myth. Your legs have to do the running, the damn shoes are just expensive hangers-on. False advertising again. R2x1 (4628)

Rebel Sport can be good too.

Shoe Clinic is good they offer a gaurantee and they have a podatrist instore, machines that watches you how your feet lands as you are running, using that they prescribe some shoes for you ....

they are designed to mimic running barefoot, just with some slight protection so I doubt any support is used. Look up a book called Born to run I think it is about the Aymara Indians from Mexico

1182961 2011-03-03 20:38:00 I highly recommend going into a specialist store like the shoe clinic, they'll put you on a special treadmill so they can see your running pattern and the pressure points on your feet, and give you the appropriate type of shoe that will support your feet properly... and they do this in a matter of minutes, when they recommend you a type of shoe they show you all the choices and styles for your type of feet, and the prices are still the same as other normal shoe stores... win win :) jareemon (5207)
