1215006 2011-07-05 03:02:00 The free version will allow you to access the PC, but if you want to transfer files etc, you need the Pro version which costs. Never used it myself, I prefer Team Viewer.

Question: The computer you will be using overseas, will it be your own (laptop ), or someone else's /internet cafe etc ?

1215007 2011-07-05 03:03:00 Hi, yes, however Team Viewer has more options...including file transfer, multiple monitor support, reverse host etc.......... SolMiester (139)
1215008 2011-07-05 03:15:00 However Team Viewer is not free for commercial use. CYaBro (73)

My own laptop.

You reckon Team Viewer is a better option?

1215010 2011-07-05 03:32:00 I would go for teamviewer over LMI for what you want. wratterus (105)

1215012 2011-07-05 23:46:00 Have used LMI for years, have about 30 pcs connected to it...fantastic. Also use Team Viewer for remote presentations of PPSs, but always use LMI for remote access to my own or other PCs. FAB (6923)

1215014 2011-07-06 01:18:00 I've used both. Both work well.

Posters, would there be a problem with Team Viewer over the per session password? Could it time out if left open for days?
