1214710 2011-07-04 10:43:00 will this work on a mac?
www.elive.co.nz

if no are there any that do and aren't $100+?
and just to check you just plug these things in and can watch any free to air tv yeah?

1214711 2011-07-04 10:54:00 For windows, once you install the drivers and AverTV, you can watch freeview yup. Unless a mac installs drivers for it, I dont think it'll work. There are no drivers for Mac on the Avermedia site

This works tho

www.avermedia-usa.com

If you can find it

Or this

1214712 2011-07-04 11:09:00 @Fishy.

If you look at the system requirements a 'Mac is not mentioned so I would think not generally speaking.

Unless you run an emulator maybe?

1214713 2011-07-04 12:14:00 It might be supported under Linux depending on the chipset... Agent_24 (57)
1214714 2011-07-04 12:25:00 And then again possibly not.

Perhaps the OP can put Linux on a Mac.

1214715 2011-07-04 23:19:00 I am picking that it will just work as the MAC OS is similar to Linux and with Linux you don't need to install rivers for every little thing. mikebartnz (21)
1214716 2011-07-04 23:33:00 But Linux was designed to run as many devices as possible, Mac OS is designed to run on Apple hardware (which is a much smaller group of devices) Agent_24 (57)
1214717 2011-07-04 23:39:00 So is anyone going to try this hardware mentioned by the OP on a 'Mac and get it to work so there is a definitive answer rather than guesses? Snorkbox (15764)
1214718 2011-07-04 23:40:00 He probably doesn't want to buy something that might not work Agent_24 (57)
1214719 2011-07-04 23:43:00 Well the 2 links I gave the drivers are on the site. So, they'll work Speedy Gonzales (78)
