| 1213989 | 2011-07-02 02:39:00 | My C drive, a 250 Gb, is getting really full. I have removed everything I can do without, but I am now down to around 300 Mb left on the HD. This causes the computer to be very slow and sluggish. I want to install a new HDD, probably around 1 tb. But do new HD's come with a program to copy the old HD's contents to the new one. If not what program should I use to do that ? |

You might like to try PING (Partimage Is Not Ghost) which is free. (http://ping.windowsdream.com/) Of course after copying, make sure you disconnect the old drive (otherwise Windows can screw the pagefile up and get weird), and test the new copy thoroughly before you format the old drive etc. |
