| 1214732 | 2011-07-04 22:59:00 | It (was) a spambot that goes looking for email links/feedback forms on pages. It found one so was busily attempting (or even succeeding) in spamming the web-master. I've done this in the past when persistent banned spambots don't get the message and keep turning up for weeks/months on end. :rolleyes: I try not to delete the account because this stops duplicate spambots trying to register with the same username/email details. We are just so popular they can't leave us alone. :lol: |

| 1214735 | 2011-07-05 07:16:00 | I reckon we have another wave of spambots sniffing around the forum. We've had 20 registrations just today all with @yahoo.com as their email address. I've noticed this huge increase of @yahoo.com registrations over the last week. They all have different IPs but none of them have confirmed their email address (yet), so they can't try to post. :badpc: |
