Upgrade would definitely be worth considering :)

Nope, the Foxcon PSU died within 6 months, and the replacement died in less than a year... I did pay ~180 for it... 4 years ago...

But good brand.

It's decent value for money.

As long as medium resolutions are being used it will handle most modern games on medium to high settings quite well. It's pretty similar to my GTX260, which still performs very well. It is the weakest link in the whole PC now though which probably helps things. :D

Good for playing modern games like Crysis (& hopefully Skyrim at the end of the year) at reasonable settings.

1184889 2011-03-10 03:06:00 Crysis is pretty old now ;)

The 5770 is what I would say is "entry level gaming" - that is, it's the lowest spec card that I would suggest anyone get to play games. It will run pretty much all current games, at moderate resolutions, with moderate settings, at comfortable frame rates. As it's aging now, newer games coming out you'll have to start turning settings down a bit probably, but it will do for a while yet.

So as long as you don't plan to use anything above 1920x1080 or thereabouts, and are happy with medium settings, it's a great value card. If you want to play at 2560x1600 with everything turned up, think again ;)

It is but Crysis still has the most advanced FPS game engine out there, as most of the recent tittles are nerfed down for console which includes Crysis 2 .

Crysis 2 is running on CryEngine 3 so imo it's the more advanced game. Even if it has been nerfed for console gaming peasants.
