| 1184315 | 2011-03-08 04:15:00 | Fryberg last Englander GG I think. The one man I always wanted for GG was the man who saved the world Air Marshal Park a Thames boy. Willoughby Norrie and Bernard Fergusson came after him I think? AFAIK, the first "Kiwi" was Porritt. Kiwi by birth, but he hardly ever lived here as far as I know and he was sort of indistinguishable from the usual imported GeeGees. At lest Jerry Mateparae won't have to wear the silly hats thank goodness. We were taken to see Willoughby Norrie when we were primary school kids and he looked a proper nong in his feathers. |

| 1184318 | 2011-03-08 04:52:00 | Yes, a good choice. I had hoped however that Wilson Whineray might have accepted the appointment. But congratulations still to the General. I think you have to asked first Richard. Good laugh Diggo, I liked the Henry reference. |
