The slow start has failed. M/c will start in full speed after a few seconds. Looking for a repair manual &/or wiring diagram. TIA. PJ |

2011-03-16 04:49:00 | Probably an electronic fault. Won't be simple. If it is only two years old, take it back to where you bought it and threaten them with the Consumer Guarantees Act if they won't repair or replace. Read up on the CGA first so you know what you are talking about. | Richard (739) | |
2011-03-16 04:54:00 | Googling says Volta is part of the Electrolux group with most references to Australian sites. I would think someone like Godfreys could point you in the right direction for service/repair, but getting hold of a service manual/circuit diagram could be tricky. Firms/agents in NZ don't want to sell things like that to Joe Public, it could take away business.............:banana

2011-03-16 05:35:00 | Have Googled & found model. No repair details or wiring schematics. Yes I agree it is a electronic problem. It is in that part that provides a speed controlled startup. There is also an air switch in the circuit. Some of this wiring disappears into the body of the motor, which I do not want to diss-assemble. PJ...Ex Industrial Electrician. retd.

2011-03-16 11:43:00 | Most online user guides are in pdf. So add pdf user manual or guide in your search query, and maybe search by the motor serial number if available. Or unless Volta or it's model number is re-branded overseas, then may need find what it is to search for a manual. ebay and alibaba com can help here sometimes. Docjax (www.docjax.com/) for pdf search or manualsonline (http:) may help | kahawai chaser (3545) | |
